Managing your Facebook page roles

To see Instagram content on your UPshow screens, you must use an Instagram For Business account and your Instagram account must be connected to a Facebook Business Page. This a requirement from Instagram (which Facebook owns). 

If you are having problem connecting your Instagram business page to a Facebook page, it's likely due to one of the following: 1. You are not an Owner on the Facebook page or 2.The Facebook page is an asset in Facebook Business Manager that you don't have access to.

1. You are not an Owner on the Facebook page:

To connect Instagram to Facebook, and to connect to UPshow, you need to have the right Facebook permissions. You need an Owner role on a Classic Page type. See Facebook's help article How do I see what my role is on a Facebook Page? for more information. Only Page Owners can manage roles. See Facebook's help article How do I manage roles for my Facebook Page? to learn more. If you do have the correct role on the Page, but are still getting errors that you need to be an Owner, see below. 

2. The Facebook page is an asset in Facebook Business Manager that you don't have access to:

If your business’ Page is an asset in a Business Manager account, you need Owner access to it in that account as well. See Facebook's help article Add People to Your Business Manager to learn more.
